Digital Advertising Campaign:
Politico Weekly Agriculture

Client: American Farmland Trust & CCOF
Project Type: Digital advertising campaign

The Challenge

American Farmland Trust and CCOF needed to reach policymakers and politically active consumers through Politico's Weekly Agriculture newsletter, but the timing was tricky—the ad was running on Halloween. The messaging had to cut through the noise of a busy political newsletter while educating readers about how organic and regenerative agriculture actually help solve climate change, not just talk about it.

My Approach

I leaned into the Halloween timing with "It's no trick! Organic and regenerative agriculture help solve climate change." The campaign needed to work across multiple touchpoints in the newsletter, so I wrote explanatory content that built on itself, starting with the attention-grabbing headline, then providing deeper education in the text boxes. The key was making climate policy feel accessible and actionable rather than overwhelming or preachy.
